Ranchi: Ranchies woke up to thick fog on Saturday morning caused by low temperatures and humidity.
The movement of traffic throughout the city is also hampered due to poor visibility in the morning.
The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD), Ranchi, said lightweight rainfall accompanied by hailstorms is likely to occur in Jharkhand on Sunday.
Rainfall is also likely to be in remote places in the south, middle and northeast of the country on Monday, he said.
On Sundays, the weather will remain cloudy in Ranchi and the surrounding area with the possibility of interfering and rainfall.
Light rainfall is also predicted in the area on Monday and will be followed by a clear sky.
Ranchi IMD office in charge, Abhishek Anand, said, “Cyclone circulation induced caused by Western disturbances will bring rain in Jharkhand on Sunday.” Minimum temperatures tend to increase two to four degrees in the northern and middle of the country in the next two days, he said.
However, the night temperature slowly will drop two to three degrees Celsius after Wednesday.
