Hyderabad: With the arrival of heavy inflows to the Osmansagar reservoir (Gandipet is known to be popular) because of the continuous rain, four of the 15 reservoir water gates are appointed by Hyderabad Metropolitan Air & Sewerage Board (HMWS & SB) on Saturday at around 3:30 p.m.

Officials of HMWS & SB told Tii that four doors were appointed with one leg to release 200 cusecs of excess water to the Musi River River, after the reservoir had received a large amount of water flooding from the catchment area of ​​the water.
According to officials, for the first time in this rainy season, two doors of water reservoir opened on July 22, and then closed on July 25, after the inflow into the reservoir, decreased.
Osmansagar reservoir has been filled up to 1,788.95 feet, against FTL 1,790 feet.
Meanwhile, officials HMWS & SB have told the administration of the Hyderabad district to evacuate people from lowland areas.
Officials have closed two of the four Himayattasagar water gates, because the inflows into the reservoir continued to decline.
