New Delhi: Some parts of Delhi receive very light rain on Sunday night even when shallow fog to moderate in the morning affect visibility.
The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) has predicted very light rain on Mondays and Tuesdays too.
The shallow-moderate fog will likely last for the next seven days.
According to IMD, 1.4mm rainfall was recorded in Safdarjung, which was the city base station, between 5:30 pm and 8:30.
Palam witnessed 0.2mm rainfall at the same time.
An official meets saying: “Rain or drizzle is very light likely on Monday and Tuesday under the influence of Western disturbances.” On Sundays, the minimum temperature is recorded at 9.8 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal.
The maximum temperature is reported at 21.4 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal.
The maximum and minimum temperature can direct around 22 and 10 degrees Celsius, on Monday.
It is possible that moderate fog on Monday morning.
Although the minimum temperature tends to float around 10 degrees Celsius for the next two days, it is estimated that it will dip six degrees Celsius on December 31.
“The minimum temperature is likely to drop from December 29,” said RK Jenamani, senior.

An official meets saying cold wave conditions can be experienced in the last two days of December in the parts of the isolated capital.
Cold waves have gripped the Delhi section for three consecutive days from December 19 to 21.

The IMD states cold waves when the minimum temperature is four or more degrees below normal or when a minimum temperature is less than 4 degrees Celsius.
