Rain is not season, hail reaches Nagpur plants

Nagpur: Plants grow on more than 28,000 hectares of land with rainy brunt and rainy rains in the Nagpur Maharashtra division in the last few days, officials said on Thursday.
In addition, nearly 70 houses were damaged in the Wardha Division and 27 districts in Nagpur Regency.
One person also died after being shocked by lightning in Nagpur, they said.

According to the initial report, bad weather affects more than 28,000 hectares of agricultural land in 1,272 villages in Nagpur, Wardha, Chandrapur and Gadchiroli, a officially told PTI.
Gadchiroli is the worst affected by more than 8,550 hectares of land in 714 villages that bear the burden, followed by Nagpur where 7,495 hectares of land are influenced, the official said.
In Wardha, plants in more than 3,000 hectares of land are influenced after rain attacking Arvi, Karanja, Ashti and other regions in the district since January 8, officials from the Ministry of Agriculture said.
Plants stood like cotton plantations, tours and orange broken, said the official.
On Tuesday, rain and hail witnessed in the Kamptee area, Saeranna, Ramtek, and Parseoni, officials said.
Local administration has begun the survey of affected agricultural land.
The Guardian Minister Nagpur Nitin Raut has given direction to conduct a ‘pancish’ loss in this district.
The R Vimla collector has ordered the income department to do the same and submit a report, said a district official.
The Minister of Livestock Maharashtra Sunil Kedar was in Nagpur to examine the villages affected by the district.
