Jaipur: Medium until heavy rainfall witnessed in many districts in East Rajasthan such as Dausa, Sawai Madhopur, Karuli, Churu, Sikar, Jhunjhunu and Alwar on Friday.
Many places and farms in Dausa, Mahwa and Dholpur witnessed heavy rainfall which lasted for almost an hour.
Rajgarh (Churu) received the highest 135mm rainfall in the state, said Met.
Connecting the revival of monsoon rainfall to the active east wind, Met Office states that heavy rain is so heavy that it will take place in several parts in the east and several parts in Rajasthan Barat.
Heavy waterlogging looks on the Jaipur-Agra highway from Dausa to Bharatpur where the service path is almost submerged.
In Dausa and Bharatpur, waterlogging heavily created a problem for passengers and traffic stays chaotic for more than three hours on the road.
Jaipur watched dark clouds throughout the day but they only repented in drizzle except some rainfall scattered in Goner Road, Aadarsh Nagar several parts of the Sanganer region in the city.
However, the weather was especially pleasant throughout the city.
