Kalyan: Because of heavy rains, several lowland areas in Kalyan-Dombivli, Ulhasnagar, Bhiwandi, and Ambernath in the Thane Maharashtra district reported waterlogging.
In Dombivli, the train station and the Nandivalali area immersed in water up to three to four feet.
In Kalyan, Joshibuag Nullah is overflowed while the area near Atre Hall is flooded with water.

In this region, the Ulhas River and the Waldhuni River overflowed in several regions.
Chowpatty Badlapur on the banks of the Ulhas River sank into the water.
The Waldhuni River in Ambernat near the ancient Shiv Temple was filled with bridges, while in Ulhasnagar, it overflowed near the train station.
In Ambernath, the water has entered the office building of the Ambernath city council and the train station ticket counter, making discomfort for pedestrians.
Locals in Ulhasnagar said that if the rain continued later water would enter the houses near the Waldhuni River.
In Bhiwandi also, several lowland areas such as the Nadi Naka area, Anjurphata to Purna, and Anjurphata to Kalyan Naka are flooded with water.
Oher area like the vegetable market of Batti Timah, Shivaji Chowk, Dhamankar Naka, Mahada colony, Jalan Idgah and Nagar Padma area reported waterlogging.
Kalyan-dombivli has reported 177 mm, Ulhasnagar 168 mm, Ambernath 146, and 180 mm Bhiwandi rain in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, Barvi dam that supplies water until Ulhasnagar and Kalyan is 9 meters from overflowing at 8 am.
