Aurangabad: After short gaps, many parts of Marathwada reported drizzling spells over the 24-hour period ended on Monday morning.
However, the region was reinforced for heavy rainfall activities in one or two days in several regions according to official weather estimates.
While the area, overall, reported a 6mm shower average, Osmanabad received 16mm – the highest rainfall among the eight Marathwada districts – followed by the following (13 mm).
The latest bathroom has reduced Monathwada deficiency in August to 28%.
Aurangabad (111%) and Jalna (100%) of districts, are the only districts in the area that have obtained a August rainfall quota.
Since June 1, Marathwada has received 600mm rainfall, which is 118% of normal rain, reveals official data.
In accordance with the Meteorological Department of India (IMD), Aurangabad and several other parts of the region tend to receive heavy rainfall for the next two days.
At 124mm, Aurangabad has reported high rainfall of all time on August 6, 2006, showing data.
Meanwhile, the cloudy conditions for Aurangabad helped drop the level of mercury.
The maximum temperature reported in the city is 27 degrees Celsius, which is two units below normal.
