LUCKNOW: freshwater and thundershower happened at isolated places across western Uttar Pradesh and at some locations in southern region of the country where lightning was recorded in the previous 24 hours.
According to the MET office, Varanasi, Bijnor, Turtipar, Salempur, Ramnagar, Jalalabad, Chhatnag, Amroha amongst others obtained rain.
Day temperatures rose in Varanasi branch, appreciably climbed in Kanpur, Lucknow and also Jhansi branches, while it considerably dropped in Gorakhpur branch, according to MET officials.
They explained,”Day temperatures were below normal in Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Lucknow, Bareilly, Moradabad and Meerut branches, substantially below normal in Jhansi and Agra divisions and under normal in Kanpur branch” The most temperature across the country was listed at Fatehgarh (39 degrees Celsius) while smallest minimum temperatures has been 20.5 degrees Celsius in Nazibabad.
The MET officials recognized the rain/thundershowers are extremely likely at isolated locations in the country on Tuesday and cautioned thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are extremely likely at isolated places over east Uttar Pradesh.
In other words,”Rain/thundershowers and mild thunderstorm accompanied by lightning Are Extremely likely at isolated places across western Uttar Pradesh over Wednesday and Thursday while rain/thundershowers Are Extremely likely at isolated places within southern part of the country on Wednesday.”
