Rain to continue in Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Ahmedabad: With heavy rain recorded throughout Gujarat, state administration and citizens sighing relieved.
While the country adds 7% of seasonal rainfall in the past four days, estimates of the Meteorological Forecast of India (IMD) mentions a good rainfall opportunity for the next four days throughout the state.
On Thursday, Ahmedabad recorded an average rainfall of 2mm with the fewer parts of Western City.
The sky remained cloudy when a light rain spell was experienced during the afternoon and curfew.
The IMD estimate mentions heavily rainfall opportunities in several parts of the Ahmedabad district on Friday and Saturday.
Until 10pm, 159 of the 251 Talukas Gujarat recorded at least 1mm rainfall.
Talod in Sabarkantha recorded 92mm rainfall, followed by 88mm in Meghraj in Aravalli, 78mm in Dehgam in Gandhinagar, 63mm in Unja in Mehsana, and 62mm in Siddhpur in Patan.
Eighteen districts recorded 30mm or more rainfall.
