Rainfall, Cloudburst damages Himachal plants

Shimla: The rainfall was unrelenting for the past 12 hours and the Burst Cloud incident at Himachal Pradesh has caused extensive damage to plants in the state, the authorities said on Tuesday.
The District Disaster Management Authority told Ani that the Cloud Burst incident destroyed plants in Chamyar Korud Nihog Village in Sirmaur District.
Similar incidents of Cloudburst were reported from Burua Village in Kullu Regency.
Water flooded many houses in the area and destroyed barley plants and apples in the Himalayan region.
Thakur Surender, the Manali Sub-Division Judge said: “Fortunately, there was no loss of life reported from the region but several roads and plants stand were damaged in the area.
