Hyderabad: Rainfall activities are likely to continue in the city as the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD), Hyderabad has extended the warning of rainfall until July 23.

According to IMD, Hyderabad, the maximum temperature in the city fell to 24.6 degrees Celsius on Thursday, which is six degrees Celsius below normal.
Meanwhile, the minimum temperature is recorded at 21.8 degrees Celsius.
Meteorologists estimate that the northern district of Telangana such as Adilabad, Asifabad, Manherial, Komaram Bheem, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulitu, Bhadadri Kothagudem and Khammam are expected to witness heavy rain on July 22-23.
“The low pressure area is formed above the bengal bay that can trigger heavy rain in many parts of Telangana for the next two days.
After that, the low pressure area will be less marked resulting in a decrease in rainfall activity for several days,” said Mahesh Palawat, Vice President Meteorology and climate change in Skymet, Mandiri weather forecast agency.
The meteorologist said that under his influence, the heavy rain with severely isolated to a very heavy shower expected in the Maharashtra interior, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Telangana.
According to the IMD, Hyderabad Telangana has recorded 60 percent of expensive rainfall of up to 439.5 mm compared to normal 274.6 mm from June 1 to date.
