Tirupati: At least 17 people died and more than 100 were reported missing in separate incidents because the rain continued to cause flash floods in four regencies of Rayalaseema andhra Pradesh regions on Friday.

When Cheyyuru River water violated the Annamayya project which led to floods marching in several mandals in the constituency of Rajampet Assembly and other parts of Kadapa Regency, three APSRTC buses filled with passengers trapped in flood water near Rajampet Mandal on Friday.
