Jaipur: The owner of the wedding garden and people related to the industry in Rajasthan demanded to increase the number of guests who can be invited to the marriage in the state.
At present, only 50 guests are permitted, because people who start switching to the nearest countries for wedding destinations, causes losses to the country’s wedding industry.
All members of the wedding industry federation went to meet with Minister of Chief Justice Gehlot on Monday to give him a memorandum of their request.
OSD CM, Devaram Saini, met them and listened to their requests to draw 50 guests limit for weddings in the state and were required to increase the number of 400 guests.
Secretary General of the Federation, Bhawani Singh said, “At present, there are guidelines for 50 guests for marriage in the state, because other marriages and events are not detained in the state, while in other states such as Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh etc.
Guidelines state the 200 to 400 guest limit.
This is why people from Rajasthan will get married in the nearest countries.
This shifts the country’s business to another country, along with the loss of four Rajasthan wedding industry traders, the state government also loses income.
Therefore, we request a change in the guide.
“The state government has opened a business from all states, has also opened schools, colleges, cinemas where hundreds of people gathered, but 50 guests were still decided for a wedding.
Federation members said that many people are now vaccinated in the state, because the risk of Covid infection also decreases.
So, the government is being urged to eliminate 50 boundaries and issue 400 guidelines so that a wedding for weddings, tents, catering, sugar, DJ sounds etc.
Don’t face further losses.
