Jaipur: A 25-year-old woman has been arrested a day after she stabbed her husband at their residence at Gobana Peer Road located under the Bikaner Naal office area.
The woman said she attacked her husband when she was angry after knowing that she lived with another woman in a house close to them.
Police said the victim, Gauri Shankar Soni (28), had an agriculture with his wife, Saraswati, when the last asked him to let him go to the mother’s house.
“The woman stabbed her husband and managed to escape from the scene.
Neighbors told us about the incident on Thursday night and the man was treated at PBM Hospital in an unconscious state,” said Hans Raj, Sub-Inspector, and Investigator Officers, Police Stardes Naal.
On Friday, the condition of the victim showed several improvements and police went to record his statement.
“It was found that Sataswati was angry with her husband after finding it in a direct relationship with another woman, Naina (26),” said Raj.
Following the victim’s statement, Sarasawati was arrested on charges of murder efforts.
Further investigation in this case, the police added.
