Jaipur: Rajasthan has become a leading country in the country in the production of solar energy, said Minister of Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday.
“I am happy to share that Rajasthan has come first in this country by installing 7,738 MW solar power capacity,” he tweeted.
This is the result of the 2019 solar energy policy and the investment promotion policy of Rajasthan 2019 is implemented by the state government, said Gehlot.
“I congratulate all the countries for this achievement,” he said.
The potential of the generation of Rajasthan solar has been assessed at 142 gw.
The state government plans to utilize this systematic potential and has set an ambitious target of a capacity of 30 gw (30,000 MW) in 2024-25 which will change the energy and state energy and state.
