Kolkata: Chairman of the Minister of Mamata Banerjee on Monday, without naming Jagdeep Governor Dhankhar, took excavation in the role of Raj Bhavan recently, by saying “Raj Bhavan Mein Ek King Baitha Hai, Kya Nehin Bolta Hai (there was a king sitting in Raj Bhavan, talking whatever appears in his mind).
He speaks more than even BJP National President.
“Banerjee’s statement in Goa came on Dhankhar’s Day to meet BSF DG Pankaj Kumar Singh in New Delhi.
Dhankhar Tweeted: “(Singh) shows that all efforts are made to produce smooth coordination,” marking the Banerjee Bengal and CM Police to add, “there will be a focus on his legitimate and security role.” Speaking in Goa, Banerjee said: “Let him speak.
Let him do whatever he wants to do.
We need to work.
Let’s work.” Before talking against Raj Bhavan, CM also refers to the role of NHRC on the problem of violence after the polls Bengal.
“BJP during the election has used a fake video.
They passed the video in Bangladesh to Bengal.
We have challenged this at the Supreme Court, while they are (NHRC) above, Tripura and Madhya Pradesh? They must slander Bengal.
Why? Mamata Banerjee against them, “he said.
Raj Bhavan recently directed into the BSF debate, where Banerjee had spoken with PM Narendra Modi and the Bengal Assembly issued a resolution that opposed the move to increase BSF’s jurisdiction from 15 km along the border of Indo-Bangladesh.
During the administrative meeting last week, Banerjee referred to the death of civilians in Nagaland, in Sitalkuchi during the election and after the poll in Cooch Behar, and asked the local police to ensure that they worked with BSF.
The minister’s chairman also asked Bengal DGP Manoj Malviya to speak directly with Singh, abandoned that “law and order” was the role of the police, not from the central agency.
In a letter to CM on December 9, Dhankhar said that CM’s attitude allowed BSF to work with police permits “potentially worrying for the federal and national security government”.
He also met with the Secretary of the Head of Bengal H K Dwivedi and home Secretary B P Gopalika for “Cooperative Coordination”.
In another letter to the Whip Sukhendu Chip Sekhar Trinamool Congress, the Governor refers to these issues and said national security interests must get excellence over “partisan consideration”.
Bengal’s main opposition to the new rules that stretch the power of BSF from 15 to 50 km is because it carries more than one third of the country under the central body.
It has been found that while law and order is the subject of the country, the BSF Law allows the agency to act under various central laws, creating a double police that is not considered in the constitution.
Punjab also strongly opposed this and moved the Supreme Court.
