Jaipur: The powerful Congress won the position of up-zila pramuks in Karuli and Ganganagar and BJP won the post-zila post-zila post in Baran and the city as a Pancrayat election in the four districts ended on Friday.
In the election of the up-pradhans post in 30 Panchayat Samitis, Congress won 21 posts, BJP secured six posts and independent won three posts.
In Baran, BJP’s Chittar Lal secured 13 votes to win Zila Pramukh posts defeat the Pradeep Kumar Congress Party, which secured 12 votes, on board 25 members.
In Karauli, Rameshi Meena the Congress party won the post up-zila pramukh without being removed.
In the city, Krishan Gopal is guaranteed by 13 votes to win post-Zila Pramukh defeat the Abdul Salam congress party, which secured 10 votes, on board 23-member.
In Ganganagar, Sudesh Congress won post-Zila Pramukh who was not removed.
Minister of Mining of State and Minister of Petroleum Pramod Bhaya Urmila Jain on Thursday chose Baran Zila Pramukh through cross collection by one of the members of the BJP Zila Parishad.
Congress also won the Zila Pramukh post in Ganganagar and Karauli and BJP had to be satisfied with the Zila Pramukh post in the city.
