Jaipur: The branch of Rajasthan police crime on Friday held a meeting with different bank officials to discuss problems, including security settings at ATMs and increased coordination to examine online fraud.
The meeting was chaired by the Additional DG (Crime) Ravi Prakash at the Police Headquarters (PHQ), which was attended by police senior police officers and different bank representatives.
Prakash said the bank and online financial transaction companies must assign nodal officials, who can share information with the enforcement agencies and arrangements in almost all cellular network companies.
Bank officials were urged to make policy decisions to operate a bank account only after comprehensive verification of the account applicant.
The police said the crime branch would receive in-depth information about the modus operandi that emerged from Cyber’s financial crimes, online fraud, etc., from all districts every month.
The police said they would create awareness about ways to keep scammers in the bay.

He asked bank officials to verify the right security guards before mobilizing them to protect the ATM.
He also said the security guard must be trained properly.
