City: A 25-year-old man and his 15-year-old partner, who is running around for almost a month from their village in the Bundi district, uploaded videos on social media on Thursday where they ‘threaten’ to end their lives.
The police immediately swung in action to track the couple.
The man has been identified as Laxman Keer from Jopndyan’s modlon under the Nainwa police station in Bundi.
In the video, the couple said they did not want to live when their enemies pursued them.
They vowed not to separate from each other and instead embraced death.
Keer said, “My father has six sons and no one will disappear if I die.” The girl said, “We are four sisters, two elders and one younger.
If I die, there will be three other people in the family.” The couple asked the police and locals not to trouble their parents, family members and them (partners ) has forgiven them to do and the decision to embrace death is theirs.
The couple also warns young people not to follow the path of love and do everything in life as the wishes of parents.
“Those who live life as they wish and do the appropriate work, they are destined for the same and tragic fate as they did”, said the couple.
In particular, the couple also appealed people’s singers to write songs on their love stories and to release albums with their photos.
The young man strongly urged one of the local manager singers to compile songs on their love stories and asked his friends and local people to extend their messages on social media.
The defendant worked as a daily wage worker in Jaipur.
A police team on Wednesday was in Jaipur where the alleged location of the defendant was dipped but no one was found there, said Jai Singh’s officer.
