JAIPUR: A guy from Ajmer who had been trying to get medications for his mum experiencing mucormycosis had been defrauded of Rs 95,000 by cyber scams over the pretext of supplying him the necessary medications. Based on Mansarover authorities, Satish Beri, a native of Dhola Bhatta region in Ajmer, approached them Friday day and putting an FIR of adulterous against unidentified persons. “The victim said that his mom is undergoing therapy for mucormycosis in a private hospital at Mansarover region. The doctors advised him to organize for a few medications essential for the treatment. Therefore, the sufferer after failing for drugs began searching for them on the internet,” said an investigating officer. After browsing the web, the sufferer found a couple of figures and contacted them. “He came to learn about a company that guaranteed him to deliver the necessary medications. The caller requested him to move Rs 95,000 he did. Then when he neglected to get drugs he kept calling up the amount where he had been advised to send out the cash, but the amount remained switched off”
