Raj Forest New Safari Zone Eye Dept to Increase Tourism

Jaipur: The State Forest Department explores the possibility of developing more zones for tourism in Sariska Tiger Reserve (STR).
Famous backups now provide access to only 5% of the area for safari.
Many stakeholders have shown that there is no safari zone in the STR where large cats inhabit.
As part of it, the department has begun working on the protection route of 17 km for effective monitoring.
Str Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF) R N Meena said, “Immediately, the proposal to develop a new route will be submitted before the Local Advisory Committee (LAC).
During a recent visit, the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) also gave Principle approval To open a new route.
We have developed a monitoring route before we open the Safari route.
“According to the Norma NTCA, a maximum of 20% of the core / habitat of critical tigers can be used for regulated tourism.
In Sariska, there are many tigers in the Talvriksha range, but there is no safari and monitoring zone.
“This park is close to NCR and more zones must be opened to reap the benefits,” other forest officials said.
Last year, on December 27, the head of Wildlife Warden M Meena has also examined the Devra Forest area, Venuk and Silicherh and the Beach Beach Zone where the new tourist zone was proposed to open.
However, the work stopped after the behavioral guideline did take effect …
Members of Dinesh Durnai members said, “The demand from the Ministry of Forestry is to combine the panidhal, Raika, the LOJ forest area in a tourism plan as many large cats movements are often recorded in this area.
, TiPress ST-10 and Tiger ST-13 live in the same area.
Likewise, ST-12 lives with three children, “reserves are spread in an area of 1,281 square kilometers and divided into six ranges.
Although the tiger population increases to 23, sightings are far bad.
The source at the Forestry Department said, “At present, there are only three zones in STR.
There are times when the tiger is not seen for a week.” Str, once famous for hunting, has hit a tremendous success story in the conservation of tigers with five children Born in the park this year.
Experts believe that regulated tourism will not only improve tourism prospects, but also help in the effective monitoring and conservation of tigers.
