Jaipur: Chairman of the Ashok Minister Gehlot on Monday gave his nodding to the long-delayed demand from retired employees Rajasthan State Roadways Transport Corporation (RSRTC) by giving money to those who retired after 2016.
RSRTC is under a different company for his employees and has denied them percent and other benefits.
The decision will cost around Rs 470 Crore to FECECEQUER.
“The delayed amount must be given in one installment,” Gehlot said.
This means that those who retire in 2016 will get percent at once.
This is considered a big decision because it was delayed from the previous BJP government.
According to the report, more than 5,500 RSRTC employees have retired since 2016 and has been rejected by retirement benefits.
The reason given is a bad RSRTC financial condition.
The RSRTC employee association has demanded benefits since 2016.
The move came a few days before the state of Bandh the state given by RSRTC employees on October 27 to suppress their requests.
The Minister of Transportation of Pratap Singh Khachariyawawas, who joined the meeting from Udaipur, urged Gehlot to implement the 7th Payment Commission to RSRTC employees.
Reply, Gehlot asked RSRTC officials to be present at the meeting to submit a proposal to the Ministry of Finance.
“It is the BJP government that benefits from RSRTC officials because of their mismanagement.
Now, employees have been given because of that, restoring their faith in the government,” Khachariwas said.
