Nagpur: The Vidarbha Industry Association may encourage cases of preparing petroleum refineries in the region.
Even because this only has a proposal so far, the Rajasthan government has reached out industrialists here to seduce them to establish units along the refinery that appeared in the country.
A refinery, with an investment of RS48,000 Crore, is being built in Barmer.
It is hoped that it is ready in 2023.
The country is looking for industries that can work as enhancers to facilities, or even use upstream and downstream products as raw materials.
The Rajasthan government hopes to get investment with other RS48,000 crore tones from industries from various countries near refineries.
A team of officials from Rajasthan Industrial and Investment Corporation (Riico) camped in Nagpur for the past three days.
A meeting was held with official Laghu Udyog Bharti (Lub) on Wednesday.
Lub is an industrial association affiliated with Sangh Parivar.
Because it is headquartered in Nagpur, the aim is to get access to all 28,000 strange members throughout the country, officials said.
Officials Riico said the state government had come up with the concept of Rajasthani who did not live.
This means they are targeting entrepreneurs from Rajasthan and now running a successful business in other countries.
“Their ancestors might need to migrate many years ago because of the difficulties of those days.
However, we are now trying to seduce them back, say the situation has changed, and an interesting scheme is on the offer,” said Virender Surana, a DGM Senior from Riico.
Among large companies, petroleum trust from Nagpur has shown interest in investing in Rajasthan.
The company has a plan to regulate the filling station and bottling plant for compressed natural gas (CNG).
Nitin Khara, chairman of the belief of petroleum, also confirmed its development.
The company already has a bottling plant in Udaipur, Jaipur and Pali in Rajasthan.
There are plans to arrange others, besides having a fill outlet on the site offered by Riico, he said.
The Barmer Refinery is a joint venture of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and Rajasthan Government.
This was initiated after petroleum reserves were found in the area, although imported crude oil and transported through Port Kandla in Gujarat would also be refined here, officials said.
The benefits include investment subsidies, subsidies for the introduction of employment and release from electrical tasks.
