Jaipur: Although the Covid case in the state has dipped, the disease transmitted through vectors including dengue fever, chikunguniya and malaria increased throughout the state.

The health department issued a order to the district to start the anti-larval and urgent public activities to ensure the cleaning of the angle of the water or the area at home and the park.
According to data available with the Ministry of Health, compared to July 2020, the case of dengue fever almost doubled.
“As of July 2020, Rajasthan has witnessed 407 dengue cases, however, this year 802 cases have been recorded with 349 in Jaipur regency,” said an officer with the Ministry of Health on Friday.
The authorities have ordered the anti-larval and urgent public activities to ensure the cleaning of the angle of water or the area in their homes and parks.
“Also, for all types of fever, people must be tested themselves for dengue fever and malaria.
Because many places in the state and cities have witnessed light to moderate shower, the diseases transmitted through vector increased, so people must be careful,” said Dr.

Likewise, in 2020 to July 180 Chikunguniya cases were reported, but this year 622 cases have been reported.
