Jaipur: In the middle of a pause in the case of Covid, dengue fever took victims of the health of people in the state.
Patients suffering from diseases transmitted through vectors are now obtained at the hospital.
Although there was an increase in cases of dengue fever, the Ministry of Health official claimed that no one had died with it in 2021.
Some patients had been treated in an icus with complications, including dengue shock syndrome.
Viratnagar MLA Indraj Gurjar, who was treated at Hospital Medical Icu Sawai Man Singh (SMS) after his health deteriorated on Thursday, was tested positively bleeding a day after receipt.
“We get a lot of patients, mostly in the younger age group, which presents the feared dengue complications namely Dengue’s surprise syndrome where the patient has decreased blood pressure suddenly after experiencing high-quality fever,” Dr.
Anand Pankaj, a Senior Consultant for Critical Care and ICU in a private hospital, Jaipur.
Patients with dengue shock syndrome can develop vital organ failures such as kidneys, liver and lungs if the symptoms are not managed on time.
“The frightening dengue complications we see are dengue hemorrhagic fever where platelets fall after 1-2 days of reduction in fever.
These patients are susceptible to bleeding suddenly from anywhere in the body, which can be fatal,” said Dr.
Anand.
The Sawai Hospital Man Singh managed by the government also witnessed the increase in the number of acceptance of patients suffering from dengue fever.
“Patients come from areas that have received good rainfall including civilian nutri and karauli.
The number of blood-blooded fever patients with complications such as dehydration, rash and recognized vomiting has increased a little at the hospital,” said Dr.
Sunil Mahawar, Associate Professor, SMS Medical College.
However, in Jaipur, the Health Department official said that the situation was under control because around 90 cases of dengue fever have been reported in August and September so far.
“We accept dengue cases not from the city but from the nearest area.
Cases have begun to reappear in the nearest district but in the city of Jaipur, not many cases of dengue fever reported,” said Dr.
