Jaipur: Contract for a collection of royalties will be issued through the supply process and the Mining Department expecting more than Rs 550 Crore from auction.
A senior Mining Department official and Petroleum said the auction would be held from the second week of September for 74 licenses in 17 districts for various minerals.
The auction will be made for the royalty collection contract, the excess collection of royalties, the trust of the exploration of the state of Rajasthan, the trust of the regency mineral funds, mineral permits and weighing.
Royalties will be collected from minerals such as soap, sandstone, marble, silica sand, limestone, quartz, feldspar, bentonite and mica, etc.
Additional Chief Secretary (Mine and Petroleum) Subodh Agarwal, “According to the basic price of various contracts, the state will get a minimum of RS 564 Crore from auction and additional income will depend on premium offerings.” The auction will be held on September 7-10 and again on the date 29 months.
For those who have more than Rs 10 Crore, the successful bidder will be asked to regulate a computerized weighing machine with its own expenses.
