JAIPUR: Many areas throughout the nation reported rain on Saturday since the south west monsoon progressed farther into the nation, the Meteorological section .
The south west monsoon is passing via Barmer, Bhilwara and Dholpur and will be gradually progressing towards the remainder of the country, ” said an official in the department.
At the eastern portion of the country, Danpur (Banswara) obtained 84mm downpour, Peepalkhunt (Pratapgarh) obtained 81mm, Deogarh (Rajsamand) 76mm and Bhadesar (Chittorgarh) obtained 63mm.
Light to moderate showers have been recorded at several areas in Bhilwara, Rajsamand, Sirohi, Pratapgarh, Chittorgarh and Barmer districts, and the weather office said.
In Jaipur, mild rain and muddy conditions prevailed.
According to Met office, Jaipur airport noted 1.4millimeter rain.
The monsoon attained Rajasthan on Friday and it’s forecast to progress further in the forthcoming days.
The country has obtained an average of 29.2millimeter rain each day for the past 18 times, which can be greater compared to the average of 20mm at the time of year.
