Jaipur: The Commission’s Commission together with NGOs has launched a van for women’s health consultations and children in slums.
Van painted with bright yellow has been divided into three cabins for consultation, references and drugs.
Van, who will have a women’s health worker, is equipped with a tool for check-up.
Van will be parked for a health check in at least six places in the city.
The service will be free and all women and children who come to vehicles for preliminary health checks will be registered before consultation.
The first cabin in Van has been set for female consultations for general diseases, inspection and references.
In the second cabin, there are facilities to provide information about common diseases that will be installed on the television screen there.
In the third cabin, health workers will provide drugs according to the recipe.
“The aim is to provide medical facilities to women and children, especially in the slums.
In the event of a serious illness, we will give them appropriate references so they can be hospitalized.

Given the covid situation, the three van entry points have been equipped with sanitisers, plastic sheets etc.
