Jaipur: Booze Shops needs to update their license every two years, not one, said new excise policies for 2022-23 and 2023-24 were announced by the state government on Saturday.
This policy also eliminates all COGs related to covid on liquor.
The rest reset license fee, which has brought a covid load because of the locking and reduction of tourist foot, has been reduced by Rs 1 lakh and set at Rs 8 Lakh instead of Rs 9 Lakh.
However, the hotel bar license fee has been saved at last year’s level of Rs 8 Lakh.
There will be a 20% discount in the license fee for the hotel bar if they pay money for a period of five years in one installment.
In addition, licensed bars will be allowed to build and operate microbreweries.
This policy provides provisions for automatic approval for hotel bar licenses.
If the officer concerned fails to approve the license applied online at the specified time, it will be treated as the approval that is considered.
According to the policy, Rajasthan Corporation will establish a model store in PP mode in big cities where the premium brand will be sold.
The country will continue to have 7,665 liquor stores and no one can have more than two outlets in the district and five stores in the state.
The department hopes to get RS 15,000 crore income in the 2022-23 fiscal year.
Under new policies, composite costs have been replaced with an annual license fee, which will be 5% of the total annual guarantee of a store.
The department has extended the time to deposit lithence contributions until February 28.
