Jaipur: The country reported the lowest one-day surge of 1,102 Covid cases in 42 days.
On January 3, the state has reported 550 infections which jumped to 1,137 the following day.
The overall calculation is currently standing at 12,66,885.
In the last 24 hours, six people died took the number of victims to 9,469.
The two deaths were reported from the city while one death was reported from Tonk, Ajmer, Dausa and Jhunjhunu.
For 11 consecutive days, active cases have reduced in the state, while over the past five days, Daily Covid infection has also been dipped.

Of the 1102 new infections reported in 24 hours, 336 came from Jaipur, Rajsamand (106), Jodhpur (85), Banswara (70) and Nagaur (50).
All five of these districts collectively reported 647 cases while the remainder of 28 districts reported 455 infections.
