Jaipur: Towards the proposed cabinet reshuffle, MLA on Tuesday made the road to the main minister’s residence.
AICC General Secretary incharge Ajay Maken will come on a two-day visit to Jaipur on Wednesday to find out the scenery of MLA about the performance of the ministers as part of the exercise.
He will meet with Minister of One.
It is believed that the principle agreement has been achieved on the expansion of the cabinet and reshuffle, but the party wants to make a strong foundation to eliminate the minister.
He will also look for the view of MLAs about the appointment of party presidents in the district and post block levels lying empty for more than a year.
Appointment to various boards and companies also on the agenda.
“This exercise will be comprehensive because MLA must be accommodated on several posts to avoid reactions,” said a source.
While the ministers were nervous because Buzz said that some of them might show the door, MLA now made all efforts to appear in CM residence and express their loyalty and claim the place in the ministry quoting their caste, regional representation and seniority.
Minister of Mamta Bhupesh and Bhanjanlal Jatav have met with the minister’s chairman after rumors that they might be dropped.
Mlaas who met CM including Giriraj Malinga, Rajendra Yadav, Shakuntala Rawat, Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya and Govind Meghwal, among others.
Some MLA from the Sachin Pilot Camp also reached CM House including Murarilal Meena, a loyal pilot follower.
Buzz is that CM can request resignation from all ministers before the reshuffle.
Six former BSP MLA who joined the congress also held a meeting at Lakhan Singh Meena’s residence to form a strategy before the Maken meeting.
