Most private hospitals do not have their own oxygen plants and regulate oxygen for medical use of personal suppliers.
“We have issued orders to prepare oxygen plants in private hospitals.
This will help us in producing more oxygen throughout the state for patients,” said Siddharth Mahajan, Secretary (Health).
Rajasthan is the first to issue such orders to make mandatory oxygen plants for private hospitals, but similar order has now been issued by the center, because it makes mandatory oxygen plants in clinical companies have more than 50 beds.
