Raj Panchayat Polls: Action Discipline on 15 Officials

Jaipur: District Election Officer and Election between Singh Nehra Regency on Wednesday took disciplinary action against 15 officials because they were not present at the departure of the voting party for the first phase of Zila Parishad and the Election of Panciran Samiti will be held on Thursday.
“Given this, the notification has been served for all 15 officials,” the official assignment said.
More than 26 Lakh voters will decide the fate of 1,721 candidates for the position of members of Panchayat Samiti as the first phase of Zila Parisiad and the selection of Panchayat Samiti in six districts will be held on Thursday.
Of the 1,564 members of Panchayat Samiti, 521 Panchayat Samiti members will be selected in the first phase on Thursday.
Voters will be able to use their franchise at 3,599 polling booths in six districts – Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bharatpur, Sawai Madhopur, Dausa and Sirohi.
