Jaipur: The third phase and end of collection for Zila Parishad and Pancayat Samiti posts in Baran, Ganganagar and Karauli Regency will take place on Saturday, said an official.
The poll will be held starting at 7:30 a.m.
to 17:30 and all preparations have been completed, said Commissioner of the State Election of PS Mehra.
The Election Commission has appealed all voters to choose in a safe, free, fair and peaceful environment.
In the third phase, there were more than 8.72 Lakh voters, he said.
The election will be held for 141 Ward members from Seven Panchayat Samitis and each Zila Parishad.
Mehra told the Toi that 503 candidates were in a commotion for Panchayat Samiti members, while the three candidates had been declared elected in no stops.
For this phase, 1,183 voting stations are set.
The Election Commissioner said that 64.35 percent of voters had carried out their franchise in the first phase and 68.57 percent in the second phase of the election held by each at 12 and December 15.
Vote counting will take place on December 21 at the district headquarters.
