Jodhpur: In a big blow to the solar power project from Adani Energy Energy Park Rajasthan Ltd.
(ISPRL), the Rajasthan High Court on Tuesday ordered land cancellations intended for public utilities, measuring 1,452 BGHAS in Nedan Village in Pokhran, allocated to Adani Group Company.
ISPRL has been allocated a total of 6,115 BGHAS of Land in Nedan Village in 2018 to establish a power plant at DM.
The bench of the Justice Division of Sangeet Lodha and Justice Rameshwar Vyas directed the state government to conduct land parcel surveys given to ISPRL and Essel Surya Urja Company in Rajasthan Ltd (Esucrl) in three villages, others, and Nagnechinagar, and ordered land cancellation provided to These companies if the same thing is intended for public utilities.
The court gave the passage of the petition by Barkat Khan and 23 others objected to land allotment for public utilities to solar companies by the state government.
The court further stated that land allotment surrounding the applicant, tenants of Khatarar and land for public utilities made by two companies in three villages would be reviewed by the state government to ensure that the rights of the occupants above.
Villages are not violated or negatively affected.
The court ordered the land to approach the road to the Khatesar tenant and residents of villages that specifically remained separate and included in the revenue record for this purpose.
All exercises that are in accordance with this order must be completed by the government within six weeks from the date of receipt of copy that is certified by this order, the court said.
