Jaipur: The rain continued to shrink several parts of Rajasthan for the second consecutive day on Friday, with Mount Abu Tehsil noted 117 mm rainfall in 24 hours ending at 8:30 a.m., the department said to meet here.
Sedwa in the Barmer District, Udaipur and Chittorgarh each recorded 65 mm, 25.3 mm and 32 mm rainfall, he said.
According to the Meet Department, Monsoon will remain active in most of the East Rajasthan for the next three-four days, while the conditions are beneficial for active monsoons in several places in the western state.
The weather office has issued an orange warning for heavy rain until it is very heavy, along with thunder lightning, in Sirohi District, Rajsamand, Udaipur, Dungarpur and Banswara in 24 to 48 hours ahead.
The yellow warning has been issued for heavy rain in Jalore, Pali, Nagaur, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Tonk, Bundi, City, Jhalawar, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh and Pratapgarh, etc.
