JALORE: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Transportation and Highway Road Minister, Nitin Gadkari, an emergency landing field inaugurated (ELF) and also witnessed aircraft operations at the runway at the NH-925 in the Gandhav Bhakasar section in the south of Barmer on Thursday.
This is the first time the national highway is used for the IAF aircraft emergency landing.
NHAI has developed a part of 3 km of stretching the Satta-Gandhav NH-925A for the Indian Air Force, which is part of the two new paved lanes developed from the Gagariya-Bakhasar & Satta-Gandhav which has a total length of 196.97 km and RS 765.52 costs Crore under Bharatmala Pariyanajana.
Speaking on that occasion, Gadkari described more runaway in Rajasthan.
