Jaipur: Health experts demand that the state government must register all vendors and stores mandatory to sell tobacco products.
Expressing their concerns to the findings of the Global Youth Tobacco Survey (GYTS), released recently, highlighted that 97% of current cigarette smokers (children 13-15 years) and 98% of Bidi smokers are currently buying cigarettes and midwives from the store, Store Paan and street vendors or vending machines, health experts demand effective implementation of cigarettes and other Tobacco Product Act (COTPA) 2003 and Juvenile Justice Law.
The sad reality is that 98% of cigarette smokers and 99.5% of Bidi smokers were not rejected because of their age, showing, surveys.
