Jodhpur: Anti-corruption bureau has arrested the driver of Tahsildar and fourth-class employees along with the mediator to accept bribes of Rs 50,000.
The role of Tahsildar is also under the scanner in this matter.
According to sources, Madan Singh, the Tahsildar driver, has contacted a complainant to complete his delayed work in the Jodhpur (JDA) development authority regarding the issuance of a plot rental deed in the Banar area in Jodhpur.
Gali (ACB) Kailash Bishnoi said Kalwal Ram’s complainant wanted to build a hotel.
“For this, he needs a rental deed of the plot.
He contacted JDA with the application for rent.
Because it took a long time, he moved the court to seek legal intervention in this matter,” Bishnoi said.
The court decided to benefit it in March 2021 directed JDA to implement a documentary formality that led to the issuance of a rental deed.
But even the direction of the court continues to be ignored by JDA.
“Some time returned, Madan Singh called RAM and asked him to pay Rs 50,000 to resolve it by Tahsildar.

Madan Singh began putting pressure on RAM to give money as soon as possible and fourth grade employees from the Tehsil Office, Bhopal Singh, also joined him, he said.
Bishnoi said Madan called the complainant with money in a cottage near the Tehsil office on Monday morning and advised her to hand over the money to one Himmat Singh.
“We put a trap and when RAM gave money to Himmat Singh in the appointed place, we arrested him and recovered money from him.
