Thane: President Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Raj Thackeray on Wednesday said the hooliganism tendency in illegal vendors must be destroyed after he met the official senior of the leadership of Kalpita Pimple, who was injured in an anti-encroachment vendor.

Acne, Assistant Commissioner of Kota (AMC) from the Majiwada-Manpada area in Thane, lost three fingers and accepted a head injury when a Hawker stabbed him with a knife in the Junction of Roughvadavali on Monday.
His security guards also suffered injuries.
Thackeray visited the hospital and asked about the health of acne.
He appreciated the courage shown by him and hoped he would recover quickly.
Then talking with media people at the hospital, Thackeray, whose party was known for being chasing the Sons-of-the-Soil agenda, said in Marathi that he was sad for the incident.
“But at the same time, the tendency is strengthened”.
The “MNS ‘fight against illegal vendors will continue …’ Himmat ‘like these forces must be destroyed,” he added.
Thackeray said he discussed this issue with senior police officers.
“The police do their work.
We hope that strict sentence will be given to the defendant.
The court also does his job,” he added.
Hawker was accused, identified as Amar Yadav, who had attacked acne and then threatened to commit suicide, was arrested.

Rudewadvali police have posted him under various parts of the Indian Criminal Code, including 307 (efforts to murder) and 353 (violence or criminal to block public servants).

Maharashtra BJP Vice President Chitra Wagh also visited the hospital and asked about the health of acne and security guards.

Thane Mayor Naresh Mhaske said the Civic’s body would bear the cost of treatment of injured officials and security guards.
Thane Guardian Minister Eknath Shinde visited the hospital around midnight Monday to ask about Pimle’s health.
On Wednesday, a meeting of public bodies from Thane Municipal Corporation was postponed without conducting any business transactions to condemn attacks on acne.
The general body is likely to discuss all problems at the next meeting, a canporator said.
As a sign of protest, staff and officials of Bhiwandi Nizampa Municipal Corporation (BNMC) protested the incident and wore a black ribbon.
They handed over a memorandum to the commissioner of BNMC.
