Mumbai: Head of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Raj Thackeray and his mother Kunda Thackeray was tested positive for Coronavirus infection on Saturday, a civil official said here.
Both have mild symptoms, said Bihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials, added that they were asked to isolate at their residence in the omelet area.
Aidi Senior Thackeray confirmed that he had an infection.
Thackeray (53) recently visited Nashik, Pune and Thane and also met with party leaders in Mumbai ahead of the civil election next year.
