Jaipur: The resurrection of the Southwest Monsun brings with very heavy rainfall throughout the state, especially in the districts under the Division of Jaipur and Bharatpur, on Monday.
In the abade of Madhopur, some people almost drowned Nullah Nullah near the village of Sherpur, but somehow swimming for safety.
A bus carrying around 40 passengers was trapped in a thick stream near Kushali Darra from the Sawai Madhopur but was saved by timely intervention from the state response (SDRF).
Sodawas (Alwar) received 210 mm rainfall, the highest in the state.
At a heavy night until very heavy rainfall was reported in several parts of Bharatpur and many places in the committee of Madhopur.
Likewise, heavy rain was witnessed in Alwar, Jaipur, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, City, Karuli and District Baran.
Sodawas (Alwar) was followed by BEHOR (Alwar) where the 195 mm rainfall was received and Neemrana (Alwar) recorded 190 mm.
Likewise, rainfall varies from 100mm to 150mm witnessed in many places in the state.
Jaipur Met Office states that the spell will continue until Wednesday.
However, from Thursday there will be a dry mantra a few days.
“The first two spells of the South West Monsun are very bad and cannot bring enough rainfall.
Hopefully the third and fourth spell will bring many widespread rainfall activities in the state.
On Monday, almost every district witnessed the rainfall,” said Jaipur Meet official.
The state government has directed the district and SPS collectors to oversee the weather forecast and are ready with the emergency plan needed to evacuate people from villages or hamlets in situations such as floods.
In the forecast, the MET office states that heavy rains so heavy will occur in many places in the East Rajasthan in the next 24 hours.
