Jaipur: The state government will approach the Supreme Court challenge the high court order to ban the regularization of illegal colonies in cities without implementing zonal plans.
When the instructions speak in a special six-month campaign ambitious’ Shahar-2021’on Petition filed by Roshan Vyas, the Department of Development of Urban and Housing (UDH) prepares to move SC.
Official sources in UDH said, “Legal advice has been searched and UDH will approach SC for relief.
The camps are organized to benefit the people living in urban areas in a large number and departments are flying leases where people live in the colony .
“According to the rules, regularization can only be done in cities with a population of more than 1 lakh after implementing a zon development plan.
Of the 29 major cities, zonal plans were only applied in several cities, including Jaipur.
After the high court order, the UDH Department will accelerate the process of applying zonal plans in big cities.
