Jaisalmer: Hearing litigation of public interests that tried to stop the body from Punjab and Haryana dumped into Canal Indira Gandhi, the bench Division Division Sangeet Lodha and Justice Vineet Kumar Mathur had issued a notice to the state government.
Resident Jaisalmer Baburam Chauhan filed a pill said that the unidentified body continued to come from Punjab and Haryana to Canal Indira Gandhi.
Because this continues to flow in water for a long time and distance, they are very decomposed because they cannot be identified and cremated here.
This is also a violation of human rights from an unknown body.
According to information obtained using the Right Act on Information, from 2010 to 2019, around 1,822 bodies found in Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Ganganagar and Hanumangarh, among them only around 260 bodies that can be identified, while 1,562 cannot be identified.
In the petition, it is said that there is a strong possibility that there may be missing cases or criminals registered with 1,562 bodies in the countries concerned and the police can search for them, but because the body cannot identify their family members remain loss of justice.
Only 15% of the body can be identified and this shows that there are many opportunities for improving in the system.
The applicant has asked for instructions to lay the gate in Canal Indira Gandhi on the borders of Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana and to form special police stations in the district concerned.
The applicant said that the grid gate would prevent the body from flowing further into the canal.
After the initial hearing, the bench issued a notification to the main Secretary of the State of State of the State of State, the Head of the Indira Gandhi Canal Department and other related officials and directed them to submit a reply.
