AJMER: Alwar Gate City Police Station on Friday arrested a young man from Jodhpur for allegedly deceiving people online by offering to sell iPhones at low prices.
The police found that the defendant had deceived as many as 158 customers.
They also confiscated diarrops from them where there was details of the delivery of 284 iPhones.
According to the police, Jayjeet Verma, a resident of Partapnagar, has filed a complaint at the Alwar Gate Police Station at Novermber 7 stated that he saw a social website where the cost of the iPhone 11 Pro was only Rs 20,000.
Verma ordered an iPhone and waited for shipping.
On November 7, he got a parcel.
When he opened the Parcel, he had a small mobile carbon company.
So, he filed a complaint to the police.
SP Vikas Sharma is a team to investigate this problem.
The team traced shipments through the courier company and found that the package was booked at the Jodhpur courier company.
The team went to Jodhpur and investigated about the person who ordered the parcel.
Thus, they trace the charges of Bharat Vishnoi (21), a resident of Ria Bari from the Nagaur district.
The police said that the defendant admitted that he had cheated around 158 customers.
