Jaipur: Quick Response Team (QRT) Bhatratpur police saved 150 cows and arrested two people for accusing smuggling at the early hours on Friday.
Then on that day, they arrested three more people for a criminal conspiracy in facilitating smugglers.

They claimed that cattle must be smuggled into the Mendat Nooh Haryana area to be slaughtered.
Acting on specific inputs, the Bharatpur police team along with QRT invaded in urinating areas near the Mimpi River area under the Bayana Police Station.
“When we carried out the attack, the people involved in cattle smuggling began to escape from that place.
We managed to catch two people while one escaped,” said Moran Singh, Sho, the Bayana police station area.
The police added that his compatriot gun and seven Live cartridges were also confiscated from smugglers.
“Two other people who helped the gang in smuggling were also arrested,” he added.
“We have a specific input that Bovines stored in this place and must be smuggled to Haryana to be slaughtered.

Senior police officers stated that they would continue the crackdown over illegal bovines smuggling.
