Jaipur: Quick Response Team (QRT) Bhatratpur police saved 150 cows and arrested two people for accusing smuggling at the early hours on Friday.
Then on that day, they arrested three more people for a criminal conspiracy in facilitating smugglers.
The police have also won the country-made gun and several cartridges from them.
They claimed that cattle must be smuggled into the Mendat Nooh Haryana area to be slaughtered.
Acting on specific inputs, the Bharatpur police team along with QRT invaded in urinating areas near the Mimpi River area under the Bayana Police Station.
“When we carried out the attack, the people involved in cattle smuggling began to escape from that place.
We managed to catch two people while one escaped,” said Moran Singh, Sho, the Bayana police station area.
The police added that his compatriot gun and seven Live cartridges were also confiscated from smugglers.
“Two other people who helped the gang in smuggling were also arrested,” he added.
“We have a specific input that Bovines stored in this place and must be smuggled to Haryana to be slaughtered.
It was found that smugglers from various places to collect Bovines were abandoned and sent them to various batches to the rampant melat area,” he said.
The two accused of being arrested also belonged to the area of ​​Puhana Haryana.
“They are questioned and this attack will pick us up in detail about more illegal cowsshed,” added the officer.
Senior police officers stated that they would continue the crackdown over illegal bovines smuggling.
“In the past we have biting cattle smuggling gangs involved illegally to get Bovines from various regions in Bharatpur and sell them to people involved in the cow massacre,” the officer added.
