Jaipur: The death of around 23 crows is more reported at Lake Sambhar on Saturday.
With this, the toll has reached around 60 in the last three days.
However, there was no confirmation about the cause of death as a sample report to ensure the cause of death has not been received.
A staff of the Livestock Department said, “Samples of dead birds have been sent to the National Institute of High Security Animal Disease (NIHSAD) in Bhopal to ensure the cause of death.
We maintain a strict surprise on the lake with local volunteers, and the carcass immediately removed.” Om Prakash, President , The wildlife creature organization working in Sambhar, added, along with crows, a porta eagle was also saved from the lake.
There is a closeby dumping land where the bird wreck is found.
At the disposal site, sometimes dead animals are discarded and chemicals are inserted to prevent odor.
