Bikaner: Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested three people in connection with the attack on the Rural Congress Committee Nokha Singh.
The trio has been identified as Singh Day, Gulab Singh and Rajkumar aka Chotia.
“The police have also recovered vehicles used in the attack,” said Ishwar Jangid, Sho, police station Nokha.
Police have identified other defendants including police police Prithviraj Bishnoi but they are still in general.
“The police team continues to rob their hiding,” Jangid said.
Singh, Congress President Nokha Block, was attacked near the Himatsar village bus at Bikaner-Jodhpur NH-11 on Thursday night when he was with his family back to his house after visiting Dishnok Karni temple in his car.

Meanwhile, Megh Singh has been referred to a higher center in Jaipur at the request of his family members from the PBM Bikaner Hospital.
The police have registered FIR based on Megh Singh’s statement against 13 identified and other attackers.
Circle Officer Police Circle Nokha Nem Singh told TII that this attack was the Prima Facie was the result of political competition between two groups in the village and may have several relationships with internal disputes among Meghang family.
However, the police had identified the defendant involved in the attack and effort was being carried out to arrest the remaining defendants.
