Jaipur: Four, including three children, was killed after a small house with several chemical drums up in the fire in Jamwaramgarh near Jaipur Sunday morning.
According to Deputy SP (Jamwaramgarh), Shiv Kumar Bhardwaj, the victims were approved as Ramesh (25), Garima (3), Ankush (2) and Divya (2).
He said that three other people underwent treatment at the hospital for burns.
The local police said that the victims were members of the family.
According to Bhardwaj, the small house is used to pack up turtle oil into small packages.
Jaipur District collector, Rajan Vishal said that the current administrative focus was to attend injured.
Mahendra Pal Meena, a local resident and leader in Jamwaramgarh said that the incident took place early when the children were present in the building.
“We hope the victims will be compensated,” he said.
The fire department and civil defense staff said that the fire was watered and injured with a burn injury to be transported to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Jaipur police (rustic) said that efforts were being carried out to see who was running a chemical unit and if they had permissions needed or not.
